OBJECTIVES OF THE NETWORK
We present the objectives that we aim to achieve based on the Directive. N.°36-2019-DGP-DRSET/GOB.REG.TACNA.
General objective:
- To establish ourselves as a space for cooperation, exchange and strengthening of teachers’ pedagogical work in Tacna city . Thus, we seek to promote good practices and generate innovative and participatory processes of the education actors to develop pedagogical management, as well as to improve learning in public schools.
Specific Objectives
- To improve the quality of the educational service through the integration of educational institutions that allows optimizing in-service teacher training actions, interventions or pedagogical strategies.
- To institutionalize Tacna English Teachers’ Network (REDIT) within the scope of the Regional directorate of the educational service of Tacna (DRSET).
- To promote the integration of educational institutions in the implementation of strategies to improve the educational service.
Since 2019, English teachers from public and private educational institutions in Tacna city had been calling themselves to solve the need for inter-learning spaces in the English area, as well as to organize and promote teacher training. Thus, our network was formed and now it counts with around 2,300 participants so far. Link: https://www.facebook.com/groups/2118023251835231
